TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade - What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
